ST. THOMAS, U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS — October 14, 2026, Schneider Regional Medical Center (SRMC) is pleased to announce that Gastro Health services, including endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures, are scheduled to resume on November 2, 2026.

The Gastro Health Clinic is currently open, allowing patients to complete initial assessments, pre-procedure evaluations, and other necessary preparations ahead of their scheduled procedures. SRMC Gastro Health staff will contact previously scheduled patients directly to coordinate appointments and reschedule procedures that were postponed during the temporary service disruption.

Urgent cases and emergency hospital-based consultations will continue to be evaluated and managed as clinically appropriate. Patients experiencing a medical emergency should call 911 or seek immediate care at the nearest emergency department. SRMC appreciates the community’s patience and understanding and remains committed to providing accessible, effective, and sustainable gastroenterology care to the Virgin Islands community.
