Message From Chief Executive Officer
Hi, I am Attorney Tina Comissiong, Chief Executive Officer at the Schneider Regional Medical Center. Welcome, and thank you for visiting our website.
Schneider Regional Medical Center is a semi-autonomous government agency comprised of three facilities, functioning as one healthcare system. Our facilities include the Roy Lester Schneider Hospital (RLSH), a licensed 169-bed, acute care facility that provides a wide range of services to accommodate diverse medical needs; The Roy Lester Schneider Hospital is proud to have served the Virgin Islands since 1982; The Charlotte Kimelman Cancer Institute (CKCI), is a state-of-the-art comprehensive outpatient oncology diagnostic and treatment facility; and the Myrah Keating Smith Community Health Center (MKSCHC), located on St. John, which offers 24-hours urgent care and general/primary care and preventative care.
SRMC is the only acute care facility in this District, and we understand how our position as a safety net hospital may affect the lives of people in this community every day. For these reasons, SRMC continues to make huge strides in upgrading its facilities, clinical programs, patient and customer and satisfaction.
