Physical therapy is an allied health profession that uses evidence based practice to preserve, enhance, or restore movement and physical function impairment resulting from injury, disease, trauma or disability. Physical therapy improves a patient’s physical function through physical examination, diagnosis, prognosis, patient education, physical intervention, rehabilitation, disease prevention and health promotion.
At Schneider Regional Medical Center we offer Physical Therapy services to our acute hospitalized patients as well as on an outpatient basis. We have two Physical Therapists, Bryan Pittman and Megan Ashley. We also have a Occupational Therapist on staff Jennifer Brewer. Physical therapy is within the Rehabilitation Department located on the 2nd floor. Physical Therapy services
