Is a professional Registered Nurse (RN) who assumes responsibility and accountability for providing safe, effective, quality patient care utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practice. The Staff Nurse also provides leadership and supervision of the unit and employees. This person works collaboratively with all the members of the healthcare team.
Must have completed an approved Nursing Program and passed the RN NCLEX exam. Holds a current VI RN license.
Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement and Life Insurance.
Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours a day, walk up to 4 hours a day, and sit for up to 4 hours a day. Must be able to occasionally push/pull up to 50 lbs. and lift/carry up to 20 lbs. on an occasional basis. Is aware of the risk of exposure to communicable diseases, blood, and/or body fluids.
