The Registered Nurse is a professional Registered Nurse (RN) who assumes responsibility and accountability for providing safe, effective, quality patient care utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practice.  The Staff Nurse also provides leadership and supervision of the unit and employees. This person works collaboratively with all the members of the healthcare team. The Staff Nurse reports to the Charge / Head Nurse and/or Clinical Care Coordinator, assumes responsibility and accountability for the position’s duties, and is cognizant of the philosophy, standards, objectives, and policies of Schneider Regional Medical Center and the Nursing Department.
