Radiation Physicist (CKCI)

Position

(Full Time)

Is responsible for the quality control program in the radiation therapy department, including calibration of all equipment, and assisting the Dosimetrist with treatment planning. Clinically, reports to the Medical Director of Radiation Oncology. Administratively reports to the Administrative Director of the Oncology Service Line and/or Cancer Center.  Salary: (Based on experience). 

Education & Experience

Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Medical Physics, or a related science filed.  Completion of an accredited residency program in medical physics.  Certification by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) in Therapeutic Medical Physics.  Two (2) years of clinical experience in radiation oncology physics preferred.
