The Patient Accounts Research Analyst III is responsible for the accurate, timely preparation and submission of claims to third party carriers and intermediaries across all payers. The Patient Accounts Research Analyst III is also responsible for collections, the monthly bad debt reporting and working to due diligence claims being returning as canceled from collection agency in preparation for the yearly Cost Report to CMS. This role is also responsible to ensure the daily resolution of claims in the Master Claim rejection listing and the Medicare DDE modules across all payers. Involves the monthly resolution and manual coding of all interim bills across all payers, and resolution of all overlapping accounts for all payers. The Patient Accounts Research Analyst III is required to resolve high dollar accounts of $5,000.00 and greater.
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or an equivalent certificate from an accredited institution; vocational or technical certificate of completion; and five (5) or more years of applicable experience in the related field. Experience working in a healthcare setting required, with some college preferred.
