Is a key contributor and frontline representative responsible for managing the initial patient experience within the department and ensuring seamless operational flow. Working under the general supervision of the Patient Access Department Leadership Team, this role requires sound knowledge, proactive engagement and professional proficiency to establish & maintain excellent relationships with patients, callers, physicians, internal departments and external affiliates. The Receptionist is tasked with the critical duty of actively managing communication via routine unit calls and ensuring optimal patient flow.
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or GED required and one (1) year of customer service and computer database experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
