must be a qualified medical doctor, who has successfully completed a recognized ACGME or AOA residency in Neurology. He/she must be licensed to practice medicine in the United States Virgin Islands and must be board certified in their specialty within 5 years of joining the organization. He/she must be credentialed in Schneider Regional Medical Center as an associate or active member with appropriate privileges in Neurology to admit, evaluate, perform history and physical examination, diagnose, consult, and provide non-surgical therapy to patients 18 years of age and older to treat or correct illnesses or injuries of the neurologic system. He/she will also admit and manage patients in the critical care unit. Privileges include, but are not limited to, autonomic testing, EEG interpretation, EMG and nerve conduction velocity interpretation, somatosensory evoked responses, auditory evoked responses, visual evoked responses, and lumbar puncture, myelogram and facet and nerve root block under fluroscopy. He/she will utilize these modalities to diagnose and provide treatment decisions regarding the patients’ health problems and collaborate with other medical providers as to the appropriate management of patients and their conditions. (Based on experience).

Completion of residency in Neurology in an ACGME accredited institution.
