Works collaboratively as a member of the health care team in the provision of safe, effective, quality nursing care to all patients under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse. Utilizes the nursing process in planning and administering care.
Education & Experience
High School graduate or obtained GED. Must have successfully completed an approved school of practical nursing and passed the PN NCLEX licensure exam. Holds a current VI LPN license.

Hazards & Physical Requirements
Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours a day, walk up to 4 hours a day, and sit for up to 4 hours a day. Must be able to occasionally push/pull up to 50 lbs. and lift/carry up to 20 lbs. on an occasional basis. Is aware of the risk of exposure to communicable diseases, blood, and/or body fluids.
Specific Requirements
American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Professional Rescuer BLS certification; knowledgeable of and comfortable working with computers.
