Kitchen Attendant

Position

(Full Time)

Under the general supervision of the Supervisors or Department Director, work involves independent performance and working under established procedures. The Kitchen Attendant performs routine general service tasks in the kitchen, cafeteria, dining room, dish room, patient/resident, and vending areas.  This individual is also responsible for performing other duties the supervisors or Director assign.  The Kitchen Attendant assumes responsibility and accountability for the position’s duties and is cognizant of the philosophy, standards, objectives, and policies of the Schneider Regional Medical Center and the Dietary Department.  This person assumes responsibility and accountability for the duties and is cognizant of the philosophy, standards, objectives, and policies of the Schneider Regional Medical Center.

Education & Experience

High School Diploma or GED required

Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds.

Specific Requirements

Must have a current VI Food Handlers Card.
