is responsible for receiving, processing, distribution, and storage of materials delivered to the Materials Management Department. Responsible for replenishing supplies in the storeroom, Omnicell PAR Level Systems in the OR, and Nursing Units and updating Medi Tech Item Master. This includes the warehouse and throughout the facility, including the adjustment of stock levels. This person assumes responsibility and accountability for the duties of the position and is cognizant of the philosophy, standards, objectives, and policies of the Schneider Regional Medical Center and the Materials Management Department.

This work is categorized as medium to heavy work, which includes exerting force of 50 lbs. to 100 lbs. occasionally, 20 to 50 lbs. frequently, and 10 to 20 lbs. constantly.
Knowledge of hospital, departmental, and unit policies and procedures. Computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other related office software. Ability to work well with others as part of the clinical care team. Uphold excellent customer service and the ability to quickly comprehend complex tasks while remaining focused and driven on the overall needs of the patient and or client. Ability to perform order transcription manually and via computer. Strong oral and written communication and organization skills. Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and multitask with multiple priorities. Knowledgeable and proficient in downtime procedures.
