Position

(Full Time)

must evaluate, perform history and physical examination, diagnose, and provide emergency treatment and management for clinical conditions affecting all body systems for patients with/without life-threatening complications presenting to the emergency department. Must be a qualified medical doctor or doctor of osteopathy who has successfully completed a recognized ACGME or AOA residency in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine with additional training in Pediatric and Maternal Emergency Care. Licensed to practice medicine in the V.I. and must be board eligible or board certified within 5 years of joining the organization. Must be credentialed at Schneider Regional Medical Center as an associate or active member with appropriate privileges to evaluate, perform history and physical examination, diagnose, and provide emergency treatment and management for clinical conditions affecting all body systems for patients with/without life-threatening complications presenting to the emergency department. Salary:  Based on experience, Board Eligibility and Certification. 

Education & Experience

Must be a qualified medical doctor or doctor of osteopathy who has successfully completed a recognized ACGME or AOA residency in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice or Internal Medicine with additional training in Pediatric and Maternal Emergency Care. Completion of residency in Emergency Medicine in an ASGME accredited institution.Licensed to practice medicine in the V.I. and must be board eligible or board certified within 5 years of joining the organization.
Must be credentialed at Schneider Regional Medical Center as an associate or active member with appropriate privileges to evaluate, perform history and physical examination, diagnose and provide emergency treatment and management for clinical conditions affecting all body systems for patients with/without life threatening complications presenting to the emergency department. Must have ACLS and PALS certification from the American Heart Association and NRP Certification.
