Performs a variety of task and operations to prepare food items and set up patient and cafeteria meal service. Adheres to policies that ensue quality care for patients of any age. Maintains department and area in a clean sanitary manner which is acceptable to all regulatory agencies. Functions as member of Food Service Department in assuring that food service is provided to patients, residents and non-patient customers. May also be responsible for performing other duties assigned by the supervisors or Director. May also be responsible for preparing food for other areas of the department for meal service for patients and visitors.
Must have a current VI Food Handlers Card.
