Works collaboratively with other members of the health care team to provide safe, quality, and basic nursing care to patients under the direction of the Registered Nurse to assist them in daily activities they might have trouble with on their own, such as bathing.
Must have graduated from High School or obtained a GED. Must have successfully completed an approved certified nursing assistant program. Must have a current VI CNA license.
Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement and Life Insurance.
Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours a day, walk up to 4 hours a day, and sit for up to 4 hours a day. Must be able to occasionally push/pull up to 50 lbs. and lift/carry up to 20 lbs. occasionally. Is aware of the risk of exposure to communicable diseases, blood, and/or body fluids.
Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Professional Rescuer BLS certification (Preferred). Must be comfortable working with computers.
