St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands — Schneider Regional Medical Center (SRMC) invites the St. John community to attend its upcoming Second Annual “Dinner with a Doctor – Town Hall” community forum on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at the Cleone H. Creque Legislative Hall, St. John Annex.

Community members will have the opportunity to hear directly from healthcare and redevelopment leaders regarding current initiatives, operational improvements, healthcare access, and territorial healthcare planning efforts.

Featured presenters and panellists include:

  • Ms. Darlene Carty Baptiste, Chief Executive Officer, Schneider Regional Medical Center
  • Mr. Darry A. Smalls, PE, Executive Director, Territorial Hospital Redevelopment Team
    (THRT)
  • Dr. Joseph DeJames, MD, Board-Certified Family Practitioner

The event will also provide an open forum for residents to ask questions, share concerns, receive updates, and engage in meaningful dialogue regarding the future of healthcare services on St. John and throughout the territory.

“This event is an important opportunity to continue strengthening communication and partnership with the St. John community,” said Karen P. Rennie, MBA, BSBA, Director of Marketing & Development at SRMC. “We encourage residents to attend, stay informed, and participate in the conversation as we work together toward advancing healthcare services and redevelopment efforts.”
