The Receiving Officer performs functions related to the receiving and shipping of merchandise and supplies in the Materials Management Department at SRMC. This position works closely with Accounts Payable and other members of the Materials Management Team to ensure issues regarding the receipt and delivery of shipments are resolved. This position also facilitates the proper and accurate delivery of internal and incoming mail; ensures timely processing of outgoing mail and delivery of mail to the post office for mailing, including responsibility for operating the postage machine.
