The Head Nurse directs and manages patient care activities on assigned unit(s); supervises unit(s) administrative and clinical functions. Works collaboratively with other disciplines and supportive services to ensure the provision of sage and efficient quality care to all patients; and enforces the education and implementation of the philosophy and objectives of the hospital and nursing department.
Holds a current VI RN license & current BLS. ACLS and PALS preferred. Demonstrates knowledge and training in competencies and certifications required for the position in the specific unit.
