Position

Under the general supervision of the Supervisors or Department Director, work involves independent performance and working under established procedures.  Performs a variety of task and operations to prepare food items and set up patient and cafeteria meal service. May also be responsible for performing other duties assigned by the supervisors or Director.  This person assumes responsibility and accountability for the duties of the position and is cognizant of the philosophy, standards, objectives, and policies of the Schneider Regional Medical Center and the Dietary Department.  This person assumes responsibility and accountability for the duties and is cognizant of the philosophy, standards, objectives, and policies of the Schneider Regional Medical Center.

High School Diploma or GED required;  

Hazards & Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of standing and exert up to 10-lbs. force occasionally. 

Specific Requirements

Must have a current USVI Food Handlers Card.
