Assumes responsibility and accountability for the duties of the position and is cognizant of the philosophy, standards, objectives, and policies of the Schneider Regional Medical Center and the Rehabilitation Department. This position services in an outpatient population, including chart review, evaluation per physician referral, and treatment as prescribed to meet appropriate outcomes. The speech therapist educates patients, families, and caregivers as needed to support the plan of care. This professional is responsible for completing all assessments and documentation in a timely manner; as well as participating in departmental and interdisciplinary meetings.

Specific Requirements
Knowledge of approved principles, principles, practices, and techniques in the evaluation, testing and treatment of speech impairments;
Knowledge of federal laws governing the provision of speech language therapy;
Ability to perform speech language therapy services in accordance with established guidelines and standards;
Ability to prepare accurate detailed records;
