A skilled technical position performing repair and maintenance work and related service activities of the Schneider Regional Medical Center. Employee performs repair work on the facility’s plumbing, electrical, heating, air condition and refrigeration facilities and equipment. Responsible for planning and accomplishing a job from start to finish, with emphasis on job specifications, schedules, minimum interruption, and other instructions. General instructions and supervision are received from an administrative or technical employee and/or assigned supervisor. Employee is expected to use some initiative in assuming repair and maintenance assignments and in working with a minimum of immediate supervision. This person assumes responsibility and accountability for the duties of the position and is cognizant of the philosophy, standards, objectives, and policies of the Schneider Regional Medical Center and the Maintenance Department.
