oversees the dialysis unit’s day-to-day technical operations. This role involves ensuring dialysis equipment’s safe and effective operation, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and providing guidance and training to the technical team. The Hemodialysis Lead Technician works closely with clinical staff to support optimal patient care and is a subject matter expert in dialysis technology and maintenance. This person assumes responsibility and accountability for the position’s duties and is cognizant of the philosophy, standards, objectives, and policies of the Schneider Regional Medical Center and their respective Departments.

Risk of exposure to communicable diseases; blood and/or body fluids. Must be able to stand for up to 6 hours a day, walk up to 1 hour per day, and sit for up to 1 hour per day. Must be able to move 50-100 pounds with assistance.
Specific Requirements
Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Professional Rescuer BLS certification. Knowledgeable and comfortable working with computers. Hemodialysis Technician Certification is required.
