Food and Nutrition Administrative Officer II (FNAO II) is an essential part of the dietary team. The FNAO II ensures that the patients receive the correct meals according to their nutritional plan. This work involves attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. This position works under the general supervision of the Supervisors or Department Director. The Administrator Officer II works independently and under established procedures and performs a variety of tasks and operations to prepare food items and set up patient and cafeteria meal services. This position is also responsible for preparing food for other department areas for meal service for patients and visitors. Duties involve training and some supervision of Food Service employees. Assumes supervisory tasks in the absence of the area supervisor. The Administrative Officer II assumes responsibility and accountability for the position’s duties and is cognizant of the philosophy, standards, objectives, and policies of the Schneider Regional Medical Center and the Dietary Department.

Specific Requirements
Must be computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel. Must possess the ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Must possess a current Virgin Islands food handler’s card.
