St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands — Schneider Regional Medical Center’s (SRMC) Chief Executive Officer, Tina Comissiong, Esq., invites the public to this month’s “Dinner with A Doctor” on Thursday, October 27th at 6:00 pm in the Sunroom of the Roy Lester Schneider Hospital. The event is free and open to the public.
This month’s presenter is Dr. Erole McLean Hobdy, a board-certified Medical Oncologist, and Hematologist. In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness, Dr. Hobdy will discuss breast cancer awareness, detection, and treatment.
Dr. Erole McLean Hobdy completed her Oncology and Hematology fellowship at Yale Cancer Center in New Haven, Connecticut, and her internship and residency at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York. She received her medical degree from Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons, also in New York.
Cancer Support VI (CSVI) will be at this event to continue their “Pinktober – Give Cancer the Boot” fundraiser and to provide information about resources available to people with cancer.
Ms. Donna Phillip, a Certified Mastectomy & Medical Compression Garment Fitter and Manager of the Charlotte Kimelman Appearance Boutique & Gift Shoppe, will also be available at this event to discuss mastectomy fitting options and other resources.
